Bai da Nhay (jumping rock cliffs) Quang Binh province
From Dong Hoi city, you drive about 30km along National road 1A to the North and then you will reach to a beautiful beach. Come to this place, you might be inspired by the beauty of the white sandbank, deep clear water, and the special majestic rock cliffs. There are thousands rocks, which have strange shapes and different sizes, random arranged to create a wonderful rock ground.
The name Da Nhay in Vietnamese means “jumping rocks”, referring to the image of the jumping rocks every time they are hit by the waves. The distinctive beauty of this beach makes it become one of the most important attractions sites in Quang Binh, along with Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Bai Da Nhay is located right next to the sea, below the Ly Hoa pass, Bo Trach District, Quang Binh province.
Come to this place, tourists can enjoy kayaking, trekking or visiting fresh green forests. This beach is an ideal attraction for summer thanks to its mild climate and wonderful scenes.
Ly Son Island, Quang Ngai province
Be (small) island of An Binh commune, Ly Son District has a fresh and clean beach that still keep its wild beauty. There are many rough, rugged rock cliffs and rocky grounds here, emerging amid the vast sea. Whenever the large waves hit the shore, the rocks hide under the white foams. The scene looks so incredible. In the north of the island, there is a beach with thousands of boulders that sparkle under a sunny sky.
Ghenh Da Dia, Phu Yen province
Ghenh Da Dia is categorized as one of the natural wonders of Central Vietnam. This destination attracts many tourists who visit to Phu Yen province thanks to its distinctive natural creation.
This place is located in An Ninh Dong Commune, Tuy An District, Phu Yen Province. After driving or riding more than 30km from Tuy Hoa Town, visitors can reach to this attraction.
Coming to Ghenh Da Dia, you will be surprised by the the ecstatic beauty of this landscape. Ghenh Da Dia (50 meters in width and about 200 meters in length) is the special collection of strangely shaped rocks and stone collums that are arranged neatly like being arranged by the hands of God. Actually, it was formed by a volcanic eruption millions of years ago. Volcanic lava flowing into the sea had been melted and broke into columns to create the wonderful landscape.
Each stone is arranged ingeniously that makes the whole scene look like a gigantic natural honeycomb. It is estimated that this landscape is made up of about 35,000 basalt stones.
Ghenh Da Dia or The sea cliff of stone plates is an invaluable gift of Phu Yen and has become a popular place for backpackers, photographers, and couples. In 1998, Ghenh Da Dia was recognized as a national heritage site.
In addition, coming here, the traveler should visit the old Mang Lang church and the many quiet villages. You will feel very comfortable by the peaceful atmosphere here.
Bai Hoang Hau (Queen Beach), Binh Dinh Province
Bai Hoang Hau (Queen Beach) is the most beautiful beach in Binh Dinh Province. Considered as a gift of nature, the beach has been chosen as the own beach of Queen Nam Phuong – wife of Vietnamese emperor Bao Dai. That’s also the origin of the name “Queen beach”.
This beach is also called Egg Beach because there are numerous huge egg-shaped stones lying on the beach. You might want to experience the feeling of walking barefoot on smooth and round stones that look like giant bird eggs. In front of the beach, the natural rock cliffs hold back waves to create calm waters. Many comfortable guesthouses are available here.
Coming here, tourists can swim, fish, climb mountains and discover Ghenh Rang Beauty Spot or enjoy seafoods such as snail, crab, cuttlefish, and shrimp.
Co Thach Beach, Binh Thuan Province
Co Thach beach, about 280km away from Ho Chi Minh City, is located in Binh Thanh Commune, Tuy Phong District, Binh Thuan province. This beach is naturally ornamented with colorful stones and rock grounds that have been formed by the tides and circulating waves for over thousands of year. Seven colored pebbles with different shapes and sizes are such estastic creations of the nature. Tourists might witness so many strange stones that look like a hand, an animal, etc. Under the sunlight, the whole stone bank shines so romantic and the stones look like jewels.
The rock bank is surrounded by a wild yellow sand bank named Bai Tien. According to legend, this place was the “resort” of fairies. Near the beach is the Hang (Cave) Pagoda that you might want to visit.
Ghenh da Binh Chau (Binh Chau rock cliffs), Vung Tau province
Binh Chau rock bank has been famous for its wild and grandiose outlook. The huge stone blocks with various shapes and sizes stand out from the endless white sand and clear blue water. The large waves hit the rock walls can create white foams of over 10 meters in height.
Because this beach has strong waves and dangerous rocks below the surface of the sea so tourists must be carefully when swimming here.
Dinh Cau Beach, Phu Quoc
Dinh Cau beach is always one of the most beautiful beaches with the charming scene of sunlight, blue sea, and white sand. This beach also attracts many tourists who want to contemplate the majestic landscape of ancient cliffs that have been eroded by the sea and the winds.
