The Five most famous Vietnamese dishes

Besides beautiful landscapes, the unique culture, friendly people, food is also one of the attractive things in Vietnam. A lot of Vietnamese dishes are praised on the foreign magazines like Pho, Bun Cha, Nem Ran, Banh My, etc. The street food is preferred by foreign tourists.

1. Pho – Noodle soup



Pho is the first name in the list of must-try dishes in Vietnam and always the first choice of foreign tourists when visiting the beautiful S-shaped country.

This delicious dish is a unique traditional food in Vietnamese cuisine. Today, to meet various demands of tourists, Vietnamese people create many unique dishes from noodles such as chicken noodle, beef noodle, wine sauce noodle, fried noodle, and more.

2. Bun Cha – Vermicelli with grilled pork




When enjoying Vietnamese dishes, you will see many kinds of vermicelli, but Bun Cha with the unique flavor always draws the most attention of tourists.

3. Nem Ran – Spring roll




This is a various dish with different tastes depending on each region. The dish is a favorite food of people because of its crispy rice paper, combined with the sweet and fragrant taste of the ingredients inside, which include pork, shrimp, fungus, noodle, carrot, kohlrabi, etc. Moreover, the special thing making the soul of this dish is the tasty fish sauce.

4. Bun Bo Hue – Hue beef noodle




Bun Bo is a famous dish of Hue, but it appears in all regions of Vietnam. The dish has the sweet taste from beef bone and the tasty flavor from shrimp sauce, which make the difference of Hue beef noodle.

5. Banh My – Vietnamese sandwich



Banh My is voted as the most famous street food in Vietnam. Tourists can easily find a sandwich shop in all the corners; however, each region has a different taste.
